This table has a base that describes itself best as an abstract geometric shape with a high expressive quality. There is no doubt that this object will immediately attract attention when one enters the room.

Design

We see a multitude of shapes in this special table with a rather sculptural class. The base consists of many layers of beech plywood and shows a dramatic flame drawing on the visible sides with a slight dilution in the structure. It makes up for a lightweight base that is also easy to slide apart. The symmetry of the four legs, as it were, keep the abstract shapes together as entirely artistic. We can hardly avoid feeling a small notion or hint of a modern Gaudi interpretation when gazing upon this object. A blossoming shape moving  upwards is only to be stopped by the rectangular glass top. Which rests on four rubber caps. A dark blond patina with color shades underneath that vary from brown to more golden tones is a pleasure to look at.

Condition

The base is in good condition with minimal signs of use such as scratches and color differences. The table top is one centimeter thick and shows diffuse scratches due to use but refrain from being disturbing.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
