Lorenzo Burchiellaro, an acclaimed Italian designer, is celebrated for his innovative approach to blending art with functionality. Known for his expertise in metalwork, Burchiellaro transformed everyday objects into sculptural masterpieces. His work is characterized by a deep exploration of materials, particularly metals, and their ability to convey movement and depth.

Design

This "Wave" mirror exemplifies Lorenzo Burchiellaro's unique ability to transform functional objects into sculptural masterpieces. This mirror, with its flowing, undulating form, captures movement and fluidity in a static object. The frame, made from solid aluminum, is meticulously crafted to feature a hammered or engraved texture that gives the surface a striking three-dimensional quality. This texture not only enhances the visual depth of the piece but also interacts with light, casting subtle shadows that change as the light shifts throughout the day. The aluminum is artfully bent into gentle, wave-like curves, giving the mirror a dynamic and playful character that seems to defy the rigid nature of metal. The mirror itself is held in place by four robust metal cylinders, which are discreetly integrated into the design, ensuring that the mirror is both secure and elegantly presented. This interplay of form, texture, and material demonstrates Burchiellaro's mastery in creating objects that are as much about visual and tactile experience as they are about function. The "Wave" mirror by Lorenzo Burchiellaro stands as a remarkable fusion of art and utility, epitomizing his ability to elevate everyday objects into the realm of sculpture. Its fluid, wave-like form and intricate texture make it not just a mirror, but a statement piece that adds sophistication and dynamism to any space. This mirror is a perfect example of how Burchiellaro's designs continue to inspire and captivate, serving as a timeless addition to any interior that values both beauty and function.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
