The object is clearly marked on the bottom with Holland Urania 1215. The design is undoubtedly attributed to Friedrich Adler. See similar designs in the Friedrich Adler reference book: Friedrich Adler, Zwischen Jugendstil und Art Deco. The Urania factory was founded in Maastricht, The Netherlands. This item is probably made in 1904 and was pictured in the original Urania Catalogue. The wine bottle holder is in good condition and has a nice patina. The items from the Urania factory are very rare given the short existence of the company. Most items were exported to Germany, UK and US. A model of this bottle holder has also been pictured in the very well-known book about Urania by Kwint (pg 59).

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
