These exquisite armchairs, crafted by the renowned Italian designer Giuseppe Rivadossi in the late 1960s, exemplify mid-century elegance with a distinct artisanal touch. Made from high-quality Slavonian Oak, the chairs display Rivadossi’s characteristic dedication to form and material, combining robust structure with refined aesthetics. The rich, dark wood frames are built with precision, showcasing a minimalist yet impactful design that highlights the natural beauty of the oak.
Condition
The chairs feature deep, plush cushions that were originally upholstered in fine leather, though these now require re-upholstery, providing an opportunity to personalize or restore them to their original luxury. The cushions’ tufted detailing and the soft, ergonomic curves invite relaxation while complementing the sturdy frame, balancing comfort with style.
Provenance
These armchairs come with a certificate of authenticity, underscoring their value as genuine pieces from Rivadossi’s esteemed body of work. Ideal for collectors and connoisseurs of Italian design, they are perfect for elevating any sophisticated living space with a touch of timeless craftsmanship and mid-century allure.
We also have the accompanying sofa in house.
I recently bought some amazing Artwork from AtKris Studio online. The whole experience was amazing. The transaction was amazingly efficient. The crating and shipping of the artwork to the United States from the Netherlands could not have gone smoother and the customer service was spot on!! Krista was amazing and I highly recommend AtKris Studio!
Quality, flexibility, very good communication, very happy with the coffee table I bought.
This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
