Flavio Poli, a master of Murano glassmaking, is celebrated for his groundbreaking designs and contributions to 20th-century art glass. Born in Chioggia, Italy, he worked with some of the most prestigious glass studios, perfecting techniques that emphasized the interplay of color and form. His work, particularly with the sommerso technique, remains iconic in the world of Venetian glass.
Design
his bowl showcases the sommerso technique, where layers of glass are fused to create a striking depth of color. Its reddish-pink hue changes subtly with the light, adding a dynamic quality to its appearance. Trapped within the outer layer, a soft blue shade seems to float, adding an extra dimension to the design. The piece has smooth, fluid curves and a balanced form that highlights the clarity and brilliance of the glass. Its simplicity and thoughtful composition allow the interplay of colors to take center stage.
This bowl embodies Flavio Poli’s ability to transform simple forms into objects of refined beauty. Its shifting tones and layered structure capture the essence of Murano craftsmanship, offering a glimpse into the artistry and innovation that define his legacy in glass design.

Table arrived very well crated, seller made process seamless.
I recently bought some amazing Artwork from AtKris Studio online. The whole experience was amazing. The transaction was amazingly efficient. The crating and shipping of the artwork to the United States from the Netherlands could not have gone smoother and the customer service was spot on!! Krista was amazing and I highly recommend AtKris Studio!
This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
