The Nello Pini reclining armchair model "Oscar," designed in 1959 for the esteemed Italian furniture manufacturer Novarredo, exudes timeless elegance and unmatched comfort. Crafted with a sturdy metal frame, and meticulously painted black, this armchair is a testament to both durability and style.
The lower part of the frame showcases a meticulously shaped design, exuding a sense of precision and attention to detail. The cone-shaped feet provide stability and enhance the chair's overall aesthetic appeal. Despite the passage of time, the chair proudly retains its original fabric, boasting a harmonious blend of a gentle light brown hue with hints of mustard.
The reclining mechanism of the “Oscar” operates flawlessly, offering a seamless transition from an upright position to a reclined one. Effortlessly, the footrest emerges from beneath the seat, inviting you to surrender to pure relaxation. The ergonomic design of the chair ensures that once you recline, you will experience unparalleled comfort and bliss.
While this remarkable armchair exhibits signs of age and usage, it only adds character and authenticity to its allure. Some areas on the frame may bear slight paint peelings. The fabric, too, might display subtle discolorations.
Should you desire to reupholster the armchair, the options can be explored to suit your preferences. We can consider various possibilities by engaging in a discussion, ensuring the chair aligns perfectly with your aesthetic vision.
This chair remains a testament to Italian craftsmanship and design sensibility. Its enduring allure, highlighted by the meticulously shaped frame, harmonious color palette, and smooth reclining mechanism, guarantees a luxurious and comfortable seating experience.
This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
Quality, flexibility, very good communication, very happy with the coffee table I bought.
Excellent responsiveness, and with wonderful curatorial chops!
