As a descendant of a family renowned for their Murano glass craftsmanship spanning generations, Carlo Nason chose a path distinct from his relatives. While his father, Vincenzo, focused on creating traditional and intricately decorated glass works, Carlo embraced modernism and began experimenting with contemporary designs. Beyond designing for manufacturers like Vistosi, Murano Due, and Firme di Vetro, Carlo has enjoyed a longstanding collaboration with Mazzega.

Design

This striking table lamp features a triangular base with a height of three centimeters. The brass edges, heavily patinated with age, extend slightly outward to support the glass. A single brass rod rises from the base, holding the glass in place with a screw. The minimalist base perfectly complements the organically shaped Murano glass, which exhibits a subtle texture, beginning with a soft greenish-gray tint at the bottom and transitioning to transparent toward the top. The light source is placed at this color transition, and when illuminated, the lamp exudes an elegant glow. A reflection of green and yellow tones dances across the surface, making this lamp exceptionally unique.

Condition

The lamp is in very good condition, with only minimal signs of wear.
