A spacious lamp with round shapes and an attractive orange glow that creates a warm ambiance in the interior. This is unmistakably a seventies object when we look at the round shapes of the blown glass. At the time, this mushroom shape was in vogue and used in all kinds of furniture and therefore also in lamps.

Design

The base consists of a round chrome-plated metal plate a few millimeters thick with a small recess on the side where the cord runs out. There are two round colored wooden rings between this plate and the actual fixture. Chrome-plated screws sit in the edge of the fixture that hold on tight to the glass lamp.

Three light sources are raised by the fixture to a height of approximately ten centimeters so that the light can create a significant dynamic with the shapes of the glass. The glass has a diffuse pattern of small bubbles and slopes inwards at the top. That creates a soft point that sits just above the center of the triangle on lights. When the lamps are turned on, the effect is phenomenal because the light is carried over the round shapes of the glass.

Condition

The condition of the lamp is very good with small traces of use on the mounting rings of the E14 fittings. The chrome is also slightly weathered in some places. Barely visible, adding to the vintage look, but necessary to mention.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
