Flavio Poli, a renowned Italian glass designer, played a pivotal role in shaping mid-20th-century Murano glass artistry. Known for his innovative use of color and the development of the sommerso technique, Poli's works embody elegance and precision. Collaborating with notable glass manufacturers like Seguso Vetri d’Arte, he earned international acclaim for transforming glass into sculptural art pieces.
Design
This centerpiece, crafted using the sommerso technique, is an exquisite interplay of green and blue Murano glass. The outer layer, a rich green, encases a core of vibrant blue that shifts in intensity with changes in lighting. Its fluid, asymmetrical form captures movement and creates depth, inviting exploration from different angles. Subtle gradients emerge as the layers interact, demonstrating Poli’s mastery in layering glass to achieve dynamic visual effects. The smooth, polished surface reflects light, enhancing the vibrancy of the colors and highlighting the organic design. There is a round opening and therefore can be used as a vase.
Flavio Poli’s creation exemplifies the timeless beauty of Murano glass and his artistic vision. The harmonious blend of color and form offers a captivating centerpiece that transcends functionality, serving as both an object of design and a celebration of glass craftsmanship.

I recently bought some amazing Artwork from AtKris Studio online. The whole experience was amazing. The transaction was amazingly efficient. The crating and shipping of the artwork to the United States from the Netherlands could not have gone smoother and the customer service was spot on!! Krista was amazing and I highly recommend AtKris Studio!
This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
