Eight very eye-catching chairs designed by the Belgian designer Axel Enthoven for Rohé Design in 1980. What is immediately striking about this multi-award winning design is the beautiful patina that the manou wood (sanded bamboo) shows. The color shade is not easy to capture in words but can best be described as golden brown. The tension in the lines is truly a feast for the eyes. An unobtrusive steel frame is fitted to the underside of the seat and has been skilfully incorporated into the legs. This gives the chair the extra strength that is needed with frequent use. The condition of the chairs is entirely according to age and use but we do recommend having the seats reupholstered.
