A beautiful brutalist sideboard in the style of De Coene from the 1970s. This item is made of black-stained solid oak and has five doors. These doors have a nice thickness and carry a three-dimensional pattern on the front. They open and close smoothly by means of a magnetic closure system.

Behind the doors, we find a substantial storage space. Four compartments with removable shelves and four drawers are hidden behind the middle door. The natural blonde color of the oak wood provides a nice contrast to the dark finished exterior.

Scattered throughout the cabinet, we see that the wood grains provide a refined natural decoration. It is special to see how, given its size, this item still retains its elegance and can therefore also serve in different interior styles and spaces. The proportions are in balance and the use of raised edges in combination with the wood carving also creates a subtle dynamic.

This sideboard has been restored and is therefore technically and optically in very good condition. A moisture spot is still visible on the top of the cabinet, but this does not disturb the overall vintage look and character.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
