Bio
Diederik Spaargaren (1966) is an Amsterdam-based photographer and filmmaker whose work has been exhibited at venues such as Pulchri (The Hague), NDSM (Amsterdam), and Art Rotterdam. Originally trained as a filmmaker at the Dutch Film Academy, he transitioned to photography through the Fotoacademie and Studio 307 (Milan Gies), where he developed images that blur the lines between reality and imagination. Diederik is currently working on a photographic project titled Nowhere: To Be Found, which is a work in progress that explores what it means to be human in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing society. This project examines themes of alienation and the loss of identity, offering a deeper reflection on the challenges of modern human experience.
Portrait of an Invisible Man (Title: Paul Auster)
A photograph of an empty street, taken from the window of a living room, was the only clue to locate where his dying father had lived. In the hope of discovering more about his father's whereabouts, Diederik Spaargaren roamed the unfamiliar streets of Toulouse at night. He had not seen his father for over 25 years. His father was trapped in his own world and was slowly dissolving into it, making it impossible to break free. Eventually, he had become invisible to his friends, family, and children, and likely to himself.
Fine Art Print, framed in an Authentica Wenge Frame with Museum Glass.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
Quality, flexibility, very good communication, very happy with the coffee table I bought.
Excellent responsiveness, and with wonderful curatorial chops!
